Purpose built in 1898, the Hotel Russell was designed by Charles Fitzroy Dolls – Main Architect for the interior of the infamous Titanic. The Hotel Russell continues to be a striking architectural presence in Bloomsbury. Over many years the Hotel Russell has gone through many refurbishments so that once again ‘as handsome, as imposing, and as sumptuous, both internally and externally, as money and taste can make it’ and guaranteeing the survival of this Grand Victorian Hotel into the 21st century. As I shoot predominantly weddings here is a short introduction to what I endeavour to do for each couple who choose me as their wedding photographer.
