Wedding Photographer Sussex London Kent Surrey Berkshire Hampshire and UKCreative Emotion Evoking Documentary Wedding PhotographyAs I shoot predominantly weddings here is a short introduction to what I endeavour to do for each couple who choose me as their wedding photographer. I feel it's important to tell the story of your wedding day in an authentic way. Experience has taught me to predict moments as they come, key moments that you where part of. This means that I play as little a part or as much a part of your day as you the client would like. Documenting from the sidelines and capturing all the fleeting moments you and your guests where part of as it happens. This type or style of photography is often referred to as documentary or photojournalistic wedding photography. It's a fly on the wall approach with little or no interaction from me as the day unfolds. Saying that there is nearly always family formals which can break the documentary coverage momentarily, in most cases for about ten to fifteen minutes. Documentary wedding photography is very rewarding and challenging at the same time, rewarding in that it truly reflects your day in a story format from beginning to end.
A creative approach can always be applied to any wedding should you desire something that sets your day apart, this is for clients who like the editorial fashion type imagery you see in magazines. Contemporary fine art photography, some Brides love this style because it has a high fashion edge. This photography is directed to some degree to fulfill a creative and artistic vision with a view to producing a fine art. Something with pop and wow factor, a little fine art with added value for you the client who was in the moment, you will see some of these pictures as you browse through my portfolio. These images are not derived from post production. They are captured in camera and are the result of dramatic lighting, creative thinking and couples who desire pictures that reflect their investment in time, emotion and money on your wedding day. Pictures for their walls or in their wedding albums. I'm happy to liaise with you and find your preferences and as your wedding is one day taking time out for this may not suit you, if you are the couple who are prepared to set aside some time the results are rewarding not just in that moment of time but forever. In summing up, whether your looking for a Documentary Wedding Photographer or a Creative Wedding Photographer you could possibly be in the right place. As this is the first time you'll choose a wedding photographer there is no hindsight and you are reliant on what you have read maybe in a magazine or website or maybe your fortunate to have a friend who was recently married advice you on the choices you make. Please take a look through my portfolio and read what past clients say. The decision you make should be a reflection of how you want your day captured hopefully you'll connect with the images you see in my portfolio, you will visualise yourself in them and you will also see clients who are happy, relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. I have a calming influence on my clients and this is interpreted in the pictures you see. Whether you like your day documented only or you would like something creative you will have one less thing to do in preparing for your wedding day. Distance has never posed a problem for me, so no matter where your getting married I can get there. Based in Eastbourne East Sussex and travel throughout the UK and beyond. I also take commissions for portraits, headshots, engagement and pre wedding photography, commercial and pr photography in London and the home counties.
