I was invited by a good friend Christian Hough to help out on a advertorial feature for Hasselblad at there studios in Holborn London for a day, Christian is a well published fashion/hair/beauty photographer and Photo Pro writer/columnist. The feature focused (no pun 🙂 on the Hasselblad H4D 40 million pixel camera, in this environment the camera excelled, two word sum up, Image Quality.
For my part lighting was order of day, and lots of it, at times upto 6 Profoto heads with various diffusers were in operation. Going between a tethered laptop screen and making minor adjustments to lighting. It was a lot of hard work and a lot of fun, at this level working with true professionals in there area of expertise makes for a great work experience for anyone with an interest in fashion/hair/beauty photography.

On the point of make-up i can’t elaborate how important it is for a bride to hire a professional make-up artist, they’re truly worth it. The results of which are below plus a couple of behind the scenes of the make-up artist Inga Pivena at work.
