Pre Wedding Photographer Engagement Suzanne and Neil Pre Wedding session in the Snow
Where to start, I looked out the window and it was starting to snow, a powder covering was beginning to settle on the ground, the time was 10pm, I thought wouldn’t it be nice to do a engagement session in the snow. So I email Neil and say “Hi Neil and Suzanne,
If it snows enough do you want to come out to play :)” one hour later 11pm Neil replies and it’s game on. Where to go, again random Abbot’s Wood. I just had Winter Wonderland in my head. My head get’s a mention here and what happen’s when i get excited at the prospect of a shoot in the snow, kinda novel in these part’s read on…….
Roll on 10am the following morning, Neil and Suzanne turn up and we head for Abbot’s Wood, I know these wood’s and know how to find my way round, can you see what’s coming ? Right OK everything’s White everything looks the same, the tree on the left the lane on the right, ok I say let’s go this way to the pond it’s about 15 minutes walk, roll on an hour, no pond, I’ll check our location on my phone, oops no phone, (my head) 99.9 % of the time my phone is with me, this time I left it at home oops. Fortunately Neil had his phone and we found the pond and more importantly our way out of the Woods. Moral of story don’t leave home without it. So after a couple of hours getting lost in the Winter Wonderland we had a lot of fun and I couldn’t think of nicer people to get lost with.
Looking forward to getting lost with them again on their wedding day at Penshurst Place I promise I’ll have my phone.
