Nicola and Tom – Wedding Litlington East Sussex Getting Ready Part One

I love the getting ready time period of a wedding, great time to meet the immediate wedding party and get to know all. Nicola and her Bride-maids got ready at Riverdale House in Alfriston. A lovely spacious room in a great location overlooking Litlington and The Cuckmere Valley. I went back to Litlington later in the morning to capture a few pictures of the Groom, Best-man and Ushers. Back at Riverdale the Bride was almost ready, with lots of time to spare and a relaxing atmosphere it was an ideal time to do some Bridal portraiture. I’m extremely pleased we did. As much as I love documenting events as they happen throughout a wedding, I really enjoy the portraiture side of photography. Given the efforts of a great make up artist and hair stylist combined, only a fool would miss on. I cannot emphasis how relaxed the morning was and that was a major contributing factor to the success of the day. I think this was my fifth Wedding in Litlington East Sussex. I love the place. A mix of delightful colour and tones of monochrome await. Till part two !
