Battle Abbey occupies one of the most remarkable buildings in Britain. William the Conqueror built the original church on the site after he defeated King Harold at the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Its an atmospheric wedding venue and one that offers lots of various backdrops from a photography point of view, the main ceremony provides nice available light during the day, as you can see the windows create dappled light which if controlled and used properly can create nice backlighting and directional lighting.
