{Winter wedding with Carla and Paul at Cooling Castle Part 1 a story and a Sneak Peak}
Here’s an interesting fact Cooling Castle was once called Cowling Castle, something I learnt on my last visit to this wedding venue. Now you think that’s of little reference to a wedding but you’d be wrong. Like the Castle history changes things around you and you yourself for better or worse, hopefully for better. Life throws you a curve ball and it’s up to you to catch it. I personally had a real empathy with this family for the people you wish where to hold your hand, talk to and reassure you that everything going to be ok. That empathy is with me at every wedding and I’m very conscious of it especially through the wedding speech’s.
Sadly you get the curve ball thrown at you when you least expect it and you are at a lose of somebody you loved dearly. In my case I lost my Mother last year. It’s an inevitable fact of life that you will at some point lose someone close to you, knowing that fact doesn’t make it any easier. You can be assured that there proudly looking down smiling on you or laughing there socks off at the little curve balls life throws at you. I’m happy to say I care now more than ever and am even prouder to be part of what is a very special day in more way’s than the word Wedding could ever tell. The combined love, joy and even a hint of sadness for those not with us that make it so special for all involved. Here’s to all of you wherever you are. Raise a smile
for Clara and Paul’s at Cooling Castle
Like the history of the Castle there once was a Miss now there’s a Mrs, lots of love and laughter to follow, to be continued……..

Beautiful photographs, specially the one of the castle towers in black and white.
